Student Choice manages the entire process, from application to funding, to ensure families get the funding they need and financial aid officers have access to key resources during the process.
Student Choice manages the entire experience for borrowers including application, processing, certification, origination, disbursement, and servicing. Loans are funded by Metro Credit Union.
Our innovative line of credit allows borrowers to complete a single application and secure funding for their entire undergraduate or graduate career, with no need to reapply each year.*
Loan certification and future funding requests are managed via the school's preferred method of procssing and disbursement including ELM, ScholarNet, phone, fax, EFT and check.
In 2008, a group of the nation's leading credit unions saw a need for better private education funding that was in the student's best interest and honored the credit union philosophy of putting members first. This gave rise to Student Choice, a company that serves credit unions to offer fair-value student lending solutions and straight-forward advice to give families the credit they deserve with a lender they can trust!
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative that is owned by and operated for its members, Metro Credit Union offers a wide range of low-cost financial products and services. We have never lost sight of the credit union philosophy of "people helping people." We approach every day with the goal of guiding people towards financial choices that make them feel more informed and confident in their financial decisions.
